Drones is, yes, a rock album, but attracted people who may not like rock and roll because of the politics behind it. They may be unknown, but for an unknown band in modern times, Muse is at there strongest point. Their new album, Drones, is their best selling album. The album has made Muse a more recognized band, and has even won a Grammy for best rock album.

The songs on the album, like Reapers or Psycho, are about today's wars. They talk about the immorality of military training, and the families that are affected. Although the topic may seem sad, the hard rock sound to the songs make up for the sadness. There are still songs that change the mood of the album, like Mercy or Dead Inside. Those songs calm down the listener, and bring a somber mood. This album is definitely for the people who love an emotional roller coaster.

The songs also talk about modern day politics, and how wrong they are. The album does this perfectly, and is perfect to let your anger out when you hear the presidential candidates on the radio. Overall, the album is great for those P.O.’d kids that need to calm down, or just want a great song to listen to. So, the final verdict for Drones is 4 ⅕ stars!
